Project PEACE (Peaceful Endings through Attorneys, Children and Educators) works to reduce conflict and violence in elementary schools by teaching students how to mediate disagreements peacefully. Through a partnership with the Office of Attorney General, the program introduces educators, parents and schools to alternative dispute resolution skills and helps them to develop mediation programs for their own schools. Since 2000, 100 elementary schools have taken part in the training and countless others have received training at district-wide training programs conducted by the participating schools.
